Hermes Personal Assistant
This policy explains how this private personal application handles Google Calendar data.
Google data accessed
Hermes currently requests the Google Calendar read-only scope. It may read calendar event information such as event titles, dates and times, locations, descriptions, and other event metadata available to the authorized account.
How the data is used
Calendar data is used only to provide functionality requested by the account owner, such as calendar previews, schedule summaries, and personal planning assistance.
Data sharing and advertising
Google user data is not sold, rented, used for advertising, or shared with third parties for their own purposes. Data is processed only by the infrastructure and service providers required to operate the private assistant.
Storage and security
OAuth credentials are stored privately on the owner's secured VPS and are not exposed on this public website. Access is limited to the application runtime. Operational outputs may be retained in private application sessions or logs as needed to provide the requested service.
Retention and deletion
The application does not maintain a separate long-term database copy of the Google Calendar solely for this integration. The owner can remove locally retained application data and revoke Google's authorization at any time.
Revoking access
Google access can be revoked from the Google Account security settings under third-party connections. Revocation prevents future access by Hermes.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Hermes' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
